John Weir
President
As President and founder of Illumisys, John Weir is responsible
for executive leadership and business development for the organization.
In this role, Mr. Weir consults on a variety of EHR and EPM business
plans, system implementations, IT adoption education programs,
and community IT initiatives.
Previously, Mr. Weir served as Senior Project Manager, Informatics
at Lumetra. In this position, Mr. Weir was responsible for developing
and implementing the federally sponsored DOQ-IT Project during
2003-2005. The DOQ-IT Project is a national initiative that promotes
the adoption of IT in physician offices to improve the efficiency,
clinical quality, and safety of care provided to Medicare beneficiaries.
Prior to joining Lumetra, Mr. Weir served as Director of Client
Services at FiveSight Technology, Inc. Mr. Weir also served as
Manager of Client Services at MasterChart prior to its acquisition
by Allscripts Healthcare Solutions (NASDAQ: MDRX). As a Regional
Vice President for Client Services at Allscripts, Mr. Weir focused
on building versatile EMR implementation teams within the Midwest
and Western regions of the U.S., and on developing new business
with key partners and clients.
Mr. Weir has in-depth knowledge of best practices associated
with EHR deployment and data integration projects, and has experience
across hospital and clinical settings. He has provided consulting
services to numerous clients throughout his career, including
the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS); CorVel Corporation;
Lanier Worldwide; MedQuist; Total eMed; WebMD and Dana Corporation.

Subrennia 'Bre' Jackson
Vice President, Client Services
As Vice President, Client Services, Subrennia Jackson supports Illumisys
program management and is responsible for EMR implementations
and new business development. Ms. Jackson also develops training
programs and materials for healthcare organizations, physician
organizations, and physician practices.
Additionally, Ms. Jackson integrates projects and systems interoperability
and configures server hardware and systems on large area networks
(LANs), and identifies and communicates project shortfalls and
problems to the team and management.
Ms. Jackson has expert knowledge of physician practice operations
and has worked as the Practice Manager for a major multi-site
physician's group with satellite medical office practices. She
has managed operations that included multi-specialty regional
facilities, state certified radiology and laboratory services,
physical therapy, and part-time surgery practices. In addition,
Ms. Jackson has more than a decade of client relations, project
management, staff development, marketing, and human resources
experience. Ms. Jackson has also served as a Medical Laboratory
Director at two major U.S. Army medical centers.
Ms. Jackson holds a bachelor's degree in business management
from St. Mary's College of California. Ms. Jackson also has an
Associates degree in Applied Sciences in computer business administration,
is Microsoft Certified, and is a Certified Medical Manager. |

Paul Fu, MD, MPH, FAAP
Medical Director
As Medical Director, Paul Fu, Jr., MD, MPH, FAAP, provides clinical leadership for the development, implementation, and promotion of EHR, EPM, and HIT projects, focusing specifically upon integration into clinician workflow practices and the improvement of quality of care at the patient and population levels. Dr. Fu also collaborates with the clinical leadership in medical groups, IPAs, and small physician practices, to support evidence-based quality improvement interventions through effective use of EHR and EMR tools.
Previously, Dr. Fu was Chief Medical Information Officer for the Los Angeles County Department of Health Services where he led strategic clinical IT planning, systems implementation, and clinical technology assessment. In addition, as part of the Office of the Chief Information Officer, he was responsible for all enterprise information technology operations and IT strategy development.
Currently, Dr. Fu holds appointments as Associate Professor of Pediatrics and Health Services at David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA and the UCLA School of Public Health. He continues to practice clinically and serves as Director, General Pediatric Inpatient Services at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center in Torrance, California. Dr. Fu is actively working to promote HIT interoperability in support of improving health care quality and participates on local, state, and national RHIO initiatives.
He received his BA and MD degrees from Boston University and his MPH from the University of California, Los Angeles. He completed a General Academic Pediatrics fellowship following residency and is board-certified in Pediatrics.
